About us

Aspire Driving Academy is the complete solution to all things driving – theory, practical and driving instructor (PDI) training. We are the collaboration of three like-minded driving instructors with a proven track record of theory and practical test passes - bringing together about a hundred years of driving in the UK and abroad, and over 25 years of high-quality driving instruction.

Kaz Burgoyne

Kaz Burgoyne runs the successful Pass with Kaz Driving School, recognisable in the PA55 KAZ black Mini Cooper.

Previously working in motor racing PR with TWR Racing, she has combined over 35 years of driving experience with the coaching/assessment skills of an IT teacher and examiner for over 15 years.

Sarah Handley

Sarah Handley qualified as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) at the same time as Kaz, after 20 years in the banking industry.

After also training PDIs (Potential Driving Instructors) with a national driving school, she became an independent driving instructor with Pass with Sarah Driving School, boasting an excellent new driver pass rate in her blue Fiesta.

John Swain

John Swain loves his role as driver trainer, as well as for PDIs and is unmissable as M9 Driving School in his BMW Series 3 instructor car.

Previously an HGV driver, he’s constantly on the lookout for new driver training kit; he’s currently scouting for a suitable vehicle to teach increasingly popular automatic lessons.
